Water and Steam Process Library
Steam Process Library
Steam_Lib, the Steam and Water Process Library, is an easy to use yet powerful model library for analyzing thermal systems that use water and steam as working fluid. It offers a comprehensive range of models for both design and off-design analysis.
To calculate the properties of water and steam, Steam_Lib utilizes the IAPWS_IF97, which stands for the Industrial Formulation 1997 for the Thermodynamic Properties of Water and Steam, developed by the International Association for the Properties of Water and Steam (IAPWS).
Steam_Lib is a subset of several other model libraries.
Demo_Basic_Steam_Cycle
Basic Clausius-Rankine steam cycle.
Demo_Steam_Cycle_Deaerator
Clausius-Rankine steam cycle with steam extraction for direct mixing preheating in a deaerator.
Demo_Steam_Turbine_Reheat
A steam cycle with reheating in order to take advantage of the increased efficiency with higher pressures and avoid excessive moisture in the low-pressure stages of the turbine.
Demo_Water_Stream
Demonstrates the capability of the W_Stream object
Steam Cycle with Off-Design Model
Steam Cycle with deaerator. The project contains a design and off-design model/dataset
